Rune Klevjer is assistant professor Department of Information Science and Media Studies at the University of Bergen. He has written about the metaphysical interpretation of avatars and roles of diegetic storytelling and fiction in games. His philosophical interests in relation to game studies research is concerns in particular the phenomenology of embodied cognition and the role of imagination and make-believe in fiction and storytelling.
John R. Sageng is the coordinator of the Game Philosophy Network and editor of “The Philosophy of Computer Games” (Springer, 2012). He has a background in philosophical interpretation theory and has written about the ontological status of gaming environments, on autonomy and play, and on the bracketing of moral norms in computer games.
